National Geographic writer, freedom searcher. Six years ago I first stepped on to the incredible land of India. I worked as a PR and later as an account manager in Jaipur and Hyderabad after which I dedicated the following years to full time travel in and out of India, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Jordan, Togo, Turkey, Italy, France, Poland, Hungary, UK, Greece, Transnistria, Moldova, Bulgaria, Austria and ultimately jumped over the Atlantic all the way to Fidel’s Cuba.
But none has impressed me as much as India. It was the people, the smell, the places and the music that made me fall in love with this land.
So I returned here with different projects out of which the last one was for half a year documenting the most attractive travel destinations for the Romanian public, reaching from Dharamsala to Rameshwaram and from Pushkar to Havelock Islands, crossing Sikkim and flying over the green fields of Munnar.
The story was a great hit, being published in the autumn edition 2014 of National Geographic Romania straight on the cover.
In 2015 I quit my office job, got a book proposal from the biggest publishing house in Romania - Polirom - the same day, did a crowdfunding campaign on my blog and got back on the road in India. Spațiul dintre nori. Cu rucsacul prin India was published in June 2016 and the story goes on. Stay tuned!
